The fabric is thick and stretchy. The cut is mostly straight, so it doesn't have much of an effect on making you look slimmer. I saw reviews saying it was loose-fitting, but the armholes are normal, so when I wore a sweater underneath, it felt tighter than the same-sized lab coat I was provided with at the hospital. The fabric feels very nice against the skin, and the fact that it doesn't wrinkle easily is a plus.

Since I work in a department where I do a lot of bending over and performing procedures, I was looking for a doctor's coat that was a little short, but still covered my buttocks and had a feminine feel.
